Privacy.
Digito is a small public website. This page explains what data is used by the site itself and what may be handled by third-party services.
Current operating baseline.
Digito currently publishes public pages, articles, calculators, and linked tools. Digito does not currently offer user accounts, checkout, saved projects, or third-party ad scripts on digito.technology.
This policy is meant to be updated as Digito adds paid products, subscriptions, accounts, saved work, analytics, client services, or other features that materially change what information is collected or how it is used.
Information you provide.
Digito does not currently offer user accounts or checkout. If you email Digito, the email address and message content you send are used to respond to you.
Some pages may include an email signup form delivered by Buttondown. If you subscribe, your email address is submitted to Buttondown and handled under Buttondown's privacy practices. You can unsubscribe from those emails.
Tool inputs and results.
Tools hosted directly on digito.technology use the inputs you enter to provide the tool or result you requested. Some calculations run in your browser. Digito does not currently offer user accounts, and it does not intentionally build account profiles from direct-site tool inputs.
Digito does not intentionally sell tool inputs, use them to build behavioral advertising profiles, or use them to make eligibility, lending, employment, medical, legal, tax, financial, insurance, or housing decisions about users.
Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, health, legal, or confidential business information unless you are comfortable using it in a public web tool.
Where tools are hosted.
The tool cards identify the main hosting surface for each tool. Current examples include:
- digito.technology / Vercel: core site pages, legal pages, articles, and direct Digito tools.
- Product domains: standalone Digito products such as BorderPulse.
- GitHub Pages: static demo tools and public project surfaces.
- Streamlit: public-data research apps.
- Buttondown: newsletter signup forms when you choose to subscribe.
If you open a linked or embedded service, your visit, inputs, downloads, and interactions may be processed by that service under its own terms and privacy policy.
Categories, purposes, and service providers.
Digito keeps the categories simple: contact information you send, email subscription information if you subscribe, tool inputs you enter, browser and request information used to deliver the site, and local preferences such as theme.
These categories are used to provide the site, calculate requested results, respond to messages, send requested emails, maintain security, debug errors, understand reliability, and improve public tools. They may be processed by hosting providers, static site providers, app platforms, email services, source-data providers, and other services needed to operate the tool you choose.
Digito stores your theme preference in your browser using localStorage under the key digito_theme. This keeps the site from flashing between dark and light mode.
Hosting, logs, and security.
Digito is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process request information such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, timestamp, and requested URL to deliver the site, maintain security, debug errors, and measure reliability.
Digito does not intentionally retain direct-site tool inputs after the browser session unless a specific tool says otherwise. Email messages and subscriptions may be retained as needed to respond, operate the mailing list, keep records, or honor unsubscribe requests. No website can guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted availability.
Sale, sharing, and future monetization.
Digito does not currently sell tool inputs or run third-party ad scripts on digito.technology. If Digito later adds advertising, paid products, accounts, saved projects, analytics, subscriptions, or client services, this policy will be updated before or when those features launch.
If a new feature requires additional notices, opt-out controls, or other privacy choices under applicable law, Digito will add those controls before or when that feature is enabled.
Children, requests, and updates.
Digito is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Digito so it can be reviewed.
Privacy requests can be sent to sebastian.becerra@digito.technology. This page may be updated as the site adds new tools, analytics, email features, paid products, or account features.
