Build a product walkthrough.

A six-scene walkthrough using real product screens, with a storyboard and a local web preview.

Draft guide · v0.1 · Content review: · Prompt test run pending

The project

Build a six-scene product walkthrough from approved screenshots. Include a storyboard, native navigation and a complete text version. The BorderPulse brief is a starting example.

What you will need

  • An assistant with image inspection and local HTML creation, or a text-only assistant working from your own screen descriptions. State which mode you are using.
  • Two or three screenshots you own or have permission to use, their capture dates, and a brief describing the actual feature. The sample brief links to DIGITO's recorded BorderPulse screens.
  • A browser to review the output at phone and desktop widths. No paid image generation, stock assets or animation library is required.

An example to work from

A possible six-scene structure based on the public BorderPulse case, not a finished generated story or measured audience result.

  • 1. Choose a crossing: introduce the traveler's question.
  • 2. Set the lane: make comparable options explicit.
  • 3. Compare the reports: show the actual comparison screen.
  • 4. Notice the gap: closed and unreported lanes mean different things.
  • 5. Bound the answer: report age, extra driving and history still matter.
  • 6. Inspect the work: lead to the full case and actual product.

Your next three steps

  1. 01

    Choose one useful question

For the BorderPulse sample, use: how do I compare nearby crossings without treating the smallest wait as the whole trip? Do not retell every feature.

  2. 02

    Keep the screens honest

Use the case's full recorded comparison and history images. The capture date is October 24, 2026 UTC; individual reports can be older. The interface in those captures is English.

  3. 03

Review the story with fresh eyes

Read the text without images, then try the visual sequence on a phone. Ask someone unfamiliar with the product to explain the decision and its limitation. That evaluation is proposed, not completed here.

Check what it made

  • A new reader can identify the user, the decision and the next action.
  • Every visual claim traces to a supplied screen or feature note; decorative concepts are not presented as implemented UI.
  • Previous/Next works with a keyboard, no scene depends on animation and essential text survives failed images.

Before using your own files

  • Screens show recorded appearance. They do not establish that every current interaction works or that the product improves business or travel outcomes.
  • An AI-written storyboard is a draft. Reader understanding and tone still need review.
  • The exact kickoff prompt has not been evaluated in a separate model session; the sample is DIGITO-authored direction.

What this guide is based on

Written by DIGITO with Codex using our published BorderPulse case and article. The screenshots show real work. This new prompt is a way to make a story about it; it is not claimed to be the prompt we originally used.

Source paths, capture dates and the six-scene outline checked against the repository case. No audience test or generated walkthrough is claimed.
